Everytime I go in the Jack Spade store I enviously eye the giant stack of Paris Review books in there, admittedly not for the content since I don’t know what I’m missing, so much as the beautiful aesthetics of their covers. I came across these images of amazing covers past from the blog Hi + Low, which belongs to designer Abby Clawson Low, who not so coincidentally used to work for Kate + Jack Spade. Check out her incredible blog here.

Andrew Kuo is a New York based artist who also has been creating brilliantly colorful infographics for the New York Times quantifying the unquantifiable. His humble attitude, humor and awesome color combinations are my favorite aspects of his work. Check out Kuo’s blog and the video of him on the Charlie Rose show.

I love Kokon Tozai so much I went to the shop in both Paris and London. It looks like they are changing their website right now. Hopefully it will be back up soon. In the meantime check out the design site EAT SLEEP WORK PLAY which created really awesome work for Kokon Tozai. I really like the simple way they chose to display their work.

I recently discovered a store called Arts & Science. They have beautifully designed packaging, that makes me want to buy something just for the packaging alone, as good packaging should.

catalog designed by Naomi Hirabayashi.
