Not so patiently waiting for spring.. Is Europe really freezing and becoming uninhabitable?
Longing for the days when every single outfit doesn’t look exactly the same (layers and layers under my coat..)

Staying warm in style with Lula, the cutest little dog in NY who belongs to my friend Laurel.

On the shelves of Olympia le Tan. So many brilliant covers, good books and book clutches that I would love to have! I see we share a love of Totoro and Studio Ghibli too.

Have a relaxing one like Maru!

Up late working away with Scout. Back tomorrow.

Last week Candelaria hosted a benefit party and raffle for Japan. The evening was filled with cherry blossom decorations, cakes and beautiful floral outfits thanks to the House that Jack Built, a duo of artist/designers/and more! I love that the theme of the evening was a “peculiar floral dreamscape.” Everyone dressed up with flowers in their hair, floral bow ties, and even some Liberty print floral ties. They managed to raise a lot of money for the Red Cross in Japan, and made a beautiful evening of it as well, with prizes from Comme des Garcons, Rose Bakery, L’Eclaireur, Thomsen, and many more! I can’t wait to see the House that Jack Built’s next event.

I thought I’d start the new year off with a post that involved the most champagne possible. Just before I took off for the holidays, (we’re catching up on all kinds of things over here) Acne Paper hosted a party at the Museum of Hunting and Nature in Paris for the launch of their latest issue. It was an evening filled with polar bears and never ending glasses of champagne, which that last photo is a result of. This is one of my favorite museums in Paris and such a perfect place for a holiday soirée, it doesn’t get much better than a party with polar bears, swords and men in feathered caps who are constantly at your side filling your champagne glass.

I’m off to California! à bientot!

I wish I could go to this!! Or even just visit the shop, I miss NY! I need to visit! Their soaps are always amazing and smell so good, and their new soy candles are so awesome! Beautifully packaged and they smell incroyable! A HUGE MERCI BEAUCOUP to Saipua for sneaking a beautifully wrapped surprise into my order!

I wish Europe would get with it and catch on to celebrating already.
