Last week I discovered Lady M Confections and their cakes look beautiful but also taste amazing. They are a little pricey but worth every penny… works out to just pennies a bite haha. They even have a layered crepe cake!

I’m taking the night off to catch up on some reading..
photography + pantings by Henrike Stahl
the combination of photos and paintings is so pretty.
I can’t believe it has just about been 10 years since I first saw Rilo Kiley play. Tonight they played so many of their old songs bringing back lots of great memories. I’m so glad they are still playing and making music together.
I came across stylist Yoko Omori’s name from seeing it connected to so many of my favorite editorial spreads. I tried to look up some information about her, but found her book instead! This book is beyond words, the images speak for themselves.
From her incredible office at Dior that I am jealous of to creating some of the most interesting fine jewelry out there today, Victoire de Castellane is definitely someone who both intrigues and inspires.
She is also responsible for my favorite ring ever the Dior Gwendoline ring.
Due to a number of requests, I am posting some mens fashion. Aside from of course the quality and fit, styling is espcially important for guys clothes since most pieces tend to be basics, so most of these images are for styling inspiration more so than focusing on certain brands that are not always easy to afford.

band of outsiders makes some of the best mens clothes out there, and their suits are incredible in both quality and fit.
I’m not sure where Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips gets all his perfectly fit suits from but he is one of the best dressed musicians out there. He really demonstrates how having things well tailored makes a huge difference in how good they look on.

Surface to Air is a design collective extraordinaire. They have a store in Paris, and do amazing work from store installations, those Tsumori Chiatso ads everyone loves, web design and more. I stopped by the shop in Paris last September and was in love a Henrik Vibskov jacket and Devastee shirt that I wish I had bought. Their store has recently moved and I can’t wait to go back to Paris to see how it looks.
Agnes B. who creates amazing clothes like the ones pictured above has replicated pieces from some of my favorite of Anna Karina’s films.
It’s about time someone has finally done this! Unfortunately as far as I can tell, they seem to only be available for viewing anyway on the Agnes B. Japan site for now. Anna Karina is another person I have always found inspiring. Une Femme est Une Femme is one of my favorite films.
I love the image of this necklace that Kime from the Moldy Doily posted on her site. I remember seeing it at Show Pony for a while. I may not be able to get the necklace anymore but it does make a nice background for my computer desktop to wear.
The new A.P.C. lookbook features stylist Camille Bidault Waddington and the clothes look better than ever! I really admire her work and would love to work with her someday.
Helena Christensen is one of the coolest super models to have ever existed. She has always had a unique style and isn’t afraid to mix things up a bit. I also am a fan of her photography. Her photos from a feature in Dazed + Confused years ago continue to inspire me for their beauty and personal touch.
the top image reads: “Best known for her portrait rather than her portraiture, Super Model, Muse and Mother, Helena Christensen has turned the lens on her circle of friends in a set of exclusive shots for Dazed & Confused.”
