i am off for the holidays next week, going back to California. see you in a week!

inspired by the match girl film of the brilliant Jean Renoir, Boudica has created a christmas tree for the V&A this holiday season. i love the long ribbon.

The perfect guy to be the latest Band of Outsiders model.
Also exciting to see is their new line for women called Boy.

tempting us with even more beautiful packaging, apparently Laduree has come out with a line of 6 beauty products containing almonds which are supposed to be good for the skin.

i love this picnic image. the weather has been this color so much lately although not as pleasant with the wintery mix we keep getting everyday. i can’t wait to check out this mysterious “country” everyone keeps talking about that is so close to the city.. pennsylvania, connecticut, upstate new york..

congrats to david for being one of Step Magazine’s new emerging design talents to watch!

i want the sunglasses in the left photo. i don’t know who they are made by but they are the perfect combination of roundness and size. wish i could remember where i found that image!

I went to see I’m Not There the new Todd Haynes Dylan movie, and it was incredible. I love leaving the theatre feeling that feeling you get after seeing a really great film, like everything is exciting and promising in a new way.

The New Museum officially opened the weekend before last, and after three nights of openings in the middle of moving I was a bit tired and lazy about getting some photos up last week. The new building is beautiful, the show was interesting and had some pieces I really loved in it but unfortunately I couldn’t take photos of the art. If you’re in NYC check out the exhibit Unmonumental. Checking out the new space alone is worth the trip.

spread from Italian Vogue featuring one of my favorite models Freja Beha Erichsen

I love these ads for Margaret Howell that were styled by Venetia Scott. I recently saw this feature on Venetia’s very beautiful home and loved these rooms shown above.
