More California Nostalgie, I just saw Girls play last week, or was it the week before? I can’t keep track of the days anymore. Paris has been a bit of a hazy whirlwind, in a good way. Anyway, this band is awesome, and this is their new video.

Lula magazine

Lula magazine
Lula magazine Miranda July

It’s nice to be in the part of the world that gets Lula earlier. In NY I’d still be waiting months for this, ok weeks that feel like months. Some highlights from the new Lula.. love the title of the article on Miranda July, Her Eyes are a Blue Million Miles, and these top 3 photos by Yelena Yemchuk.

Lyell winter lookbook Marie Louise de Monterey Paris

I just saw the new look book for Lyell, and have been won over again by this brand. It’s always looked nice but seemed a bit too slim fitting for anyone to fit into in person. These new designs however have me wondering if Marie Louise de Monterey is still carrying them here in Paris, and how am I going to justify buying a perfect little camisole, silk blouse and shorts in such cold weather. and what is this place they shot in? I love what’s going on on the walls!

Such a beautiful song. Things like this can only make me miss California when I’m not there. What an incredible recording space!

flowers by lili cuzor

My very dear friend Lili, just launched her new site tigres to lilies. She has such an amazing eye for things I cannot even begin to describe. She did all the flowers for my wedding party as well as for the ecology center’s incredible green feast and she is working towards designing nature on a grander scale in the future doing landscape design. Check out her new site here and follow along on all her floral adventures and more.

freja beha erichsen trenchcoat W magazine

This image is one of my favorites, and it always reminds me of how I am still wishing I could find the perfect trench. Yesterday at the Palais de Tokyo for the Gareth Pugh show Melanie Huynh was wearing the most beautiful trench I’ve ever seen! Still wishing I had been faster getting my camera out, I figured I’d leave it to the pros.. You can see a tiny tiny part of it here.
It’s been a busy week and it’s only day 2! Checking out shows and attending meetings, on top of just having moved into a new place..
More to come next week!
