Off to London for the Holidays! Back soon. images from Wild at Heart.
First winter in Paris.
Just checked out the new Contributor Magazine and discovered among many other great things, this behind the scenes look at a shoot Wes Anderson did for a commercial. Love that he always has his crew with him.
Unrelated to Wes, but I’m very jealous of this photo from Contributor mag.. I could go for a stack of pancakes at the Chateau right now.
Walking through the Marais I came across the Slow and Steady Wins the Race Noel pop up shop. A beautifully currated small space, where in addition to being able to find some of Mary Ping’s goods, there are also surprises and pieces on display by artist’s Miranda July, Terence Koh, Tauba Auerbach, and many many more. I love the pine tree branches everywhere and the fake fox stoles are so cool!
Open until December 24th at 78 rue des Archives 75003 Paris
Things I’ve had my eye on.. Confetti System banner, Arielle de Pinto necklace, Postalco raincoat, Cats Let Nothing Darken Their Roar 2010 calendar, bottles of Sofia (can’t find it in Paris!!), lavender happy tape, Sabrina Dehoff necklace, Prism glasses, Margaret Howell Houses book, Repetto flats, opalescent rock, Sunshine and Shadows tie dye necklaces, Society for Rational Dress leather backpack, Opening Ceremony knit turban hat, The Little Prince audio recording, Rachel Comey boots, gold id bracelet, MMM sweater, Linda Farrow sunglasses, Charles Anastase swan tote, Vanessa Bruno heels, Le Creuset dutch oven, Anthropologie feather ornatment, Christopher Wool book by Taschen, Vanessa Bruno gloves, Loeffler Randal Yvette cut-out bootie, green striped notebook, Acne Awesome shirt, tin of Mariage Freres tea, army short suit, Green Porno Isabella Rossellini book, Lena Corwin + Mociun pillow, more happy tape, Vanessa Bruno purse, vintage Issey Miyake leg warmers, Jas MB leather belt bag, Totorro cake by Chez Bogato, Cavern lavender t-shirt, micaela greg skirt, harlequin notebook, Lyell blouse + shorts, Fredericks and Mae arrow.
I love these take away concerts, the way that they capture the spirit of a moment while a band wanders through the city, and there is something particularly nice about this one being a band that sells out stadiums still being able to play outside near the eiffel tower, and still capturing that same spirit.
Being sick all week has been terrible! I’ll be back soon with new items in the shop.
