Also at Le Bon Marché, I love Acne’s shop setup. Although everything pictured is not for sale, it’s still pretty awesome.
For those of you google readers out there the RSS feed has been down most of this month but it’s back up and running as of the previous post.
For the next month at Le Bon Marché a new collection of my flag necklaces and pins will be for sale as part of L’Esprit Factory, a space filled with temporary freight container boutiques by 0fr, ACNE, Surface to Air, Kitsune + more! So exciting! If you are in Paris and want to check it out there will be an opening there on the 1st. There is even a film of vignettes made by David + Alex, where you can see some of the things I’ve been working on in my studio, along with other artists and designers whose creations are featured in the 0fr Esprit Factory shop.

some sights + scenes from around here lately.
Recently the Merci shop has been taken over by Liberty prints. The liberty print Fiat, pillows, mugs, purses, pencil bags, tape…! It’s only in the store a few more days, and when I went back it was all nearly sold out! If you haven’t been yet hurry before it’s all gone.
Sometimes I love the backdrops as much as the clothes, and this is always the case with Lyell. Check out the new Lyell early spring lookbook here. You know there’s too many fashion seasons when we have early spring, resort, holiday, pre-fall…. we’re running out of names for all these fake seasons.
Some shoots I helped out with for the new issue of Grey magazine.

“Patrick-Louis Vuitton, designer of customized goods at Louis Vuitton. Perche Forest. In the late 19th century the explorer Pierre Savorgnan de Brazza commissioned his great-grandfather Georges, Louis Vuitton’s son, to create this trunk-bed for his expeditions. De Brazza traveled with a trunk-desk, several trunks of clothes and his bed, all of which sported the LV monogram. Today Patrick-Louis enjoys taking refreshing naps anywhere except in traditional beds.”
“To make her daughter happy, Nilaya’s mother gave her this caravan to travel around Italy.”

Since it’s still freezing out. All last week was -1 C here. I am so sick of my coats at this point, especially after seeing these incredible Lanvin coats! They are really beyond words. One of those Lanvin coats with a pair of the new Dries sunglasses are on my ideal wishlist as the two most desirable items for me from the shows. I think we could all use a little warming inspiration to help mix things up. Luckily show attendees did not dissappoint this season.

The collection I am most excited about from this season! With all the perfect contrasts covered, day/night, dressed up/comfortable, elegant but not stuffy, Dries nailed it! I can’t wait for spring to finally start. I need a pair of those sunglasses! ..and everything else pictured above!
The new issue, from it’s strawberry shortcake spread to everything else in there.. I’m back in love with Lula again.
Last week we went to visit The Selby in his Paris apartment in the Colette shop window. We had our portrait taken with Scout, picked up some stickers and checked out his awesome new book featuring some amazing places not shown on the blog. You can preorder it here, and check out more craziness from his week in the window here.
Here’s a peek at the Society for Rational Dress A/W 2010 Collection. I’m in love with that white belted dress! I think I wear this brand probably more than any other, it remains one of my all-time favorites.
