So many things lately have me coming back to this collection. One of my favorites.

I recently discovered the incredible abstract works of Parisian artist Charlotte Houette. A recent graduate of the Beaux Arts School, Charlotte’s work plays on contrasts and beautiful textile techniques. For any inquiries about her work contact here.
Our friends Fool’s Gold played an amazing show in Paris last night. Once again the crowd sang the last song for about 10 minutes after they left the stage trying to get them to come back and play one more. If you haven’t heard this LA band yet check them out they’re amazing!

Such beautifully executed neutrals & nudes. I really love that Bruno Pieters dress in the first photo. From LA Times magazine. Styling by Hayley Atkin
Finally I can share with you some of the exciting projects I was working on a few months ago. I styled a shoot for the beautiful Spanish brand Masscob photographed by the lovely Lina Scheynius, and filmed by the amazing Anotine Ricardou. It was so much fun shooting in Spain. I even made a little cat friend named Galileo who you can see wearing a Liberty print bowtie in the film. You can check out even more images on my new site, including the look book for I styled for the brand here.
all photos by L.S. except the last photo by me.
When I was last in LA, I was finally able to check out New High Mart’s new location in Los Feliz. Their new shop is incredible! Owners Miho and T – Rik built out the space and keep it amazingly well stocked with interesting and unique items. It’s refreshing to see things in a shop you haven’t seen a million times before, online or elsewhere. They also are one of the few places to carry Wool and the Gang and Margiela. If you are in LA this place is definitely worth checking out, you can also shop online here.
I’m kind of obsessed with the sweatshirt from Mark’s new line of RVCA clothing. Kinda jealous of this guy who got one, especially since due to a mistake there are only 13 of them out there in the world.. Available at Colette and Cobrasnake yardsales everywhere. I didn’t get the sweatshirt but I have this paperdoll sticker set which is almost as good.
The New Self Service is out, and it’s AMAZING! A beautiful portrait of Paris’s inspiring people, and I’m really into how the portraits were taken with polaroids. The editorial featuring Carmen Kass is beautiful, notice the overalls!
