Apartmento magazine Scout Holiday

Scout and I have been spending a lot of time inside reading since I hurt my ankle recently.. Luckily my intern this summer Lauren was so sweet and brought me back a copy of Apartmento from her trip to Barcelona, and she made me a mix cd before she headed back to LA. She will be missed! I had only seen this magazine online before, it’s so good! The tiny desk of Geoff Mcfetridge’s daughter is too cute, can’t stop looking at the woman from Arts & Science’s home featured in here, Philip Crangi’s place is awesome, and there’s so much more! Going to have to track down the newest issue now that I’m hooked. Thanks Lauren!

Hello! Just found your lovely blog – thank you for a day’s worth of inspiration!
I have an odd question… Scout looks like a lovely dog and I’m thinking of getting a puppy… I wondered if you had any advice – we live in a small town house with a little backyard, and I work away from home 5 days a week… in your experience with Scout do you think this is feasable or perhaps a bit unfair on a dog?

    Thanks in advance!

It’s a tough call, a dog like Scout is hard to have in a city where there is no where for her to run, she loved when we had a backyard that she shared with two dog friends. They need to be walked at least 3 times a day and get some running/playing time in every week. Her breed is also known to be very high strung and hyper, we just lucked out with her, so that’s something to consider as well.
