Rachel Whiteread Drawings Hammer Museum

I absolutely love the colors and objects in these collections by artist Rachel Whiteread from a past exhibition at the Hammer museum that I came across online recently. This could inspire a whole new collection.

    oh my, you’re right. the colors are so beautiful.
    i love the soft traces of pink and touch of green
    in the first photo, the pop of red against the
    milky earl grey brown in the last one…

    Her work is amazing. I’m not sure if it’s the same artist, I think it is, but some of her drawings were on display at the MFA in Boston and she had this magnificent sculpture of tiny dollhouses lit from within, all set up in a dark room. It was magical. I wish I could find the source.
