Chloe!

Coming across these images recently made me super excited to see the Chloe show! I love the way they brought back the triple strap flat, which I am still on the hunt for!

Styling by Nobuko Tannawa for Another Mag featuring pieces by recent MA graduates from the Royal College of Art in London: Victoria Alice Hill, Itziar Vaquer, Ruth Green, Abnit Nijjar, and by St Martins graduate Thomas Tait (outdoor shots). Would love those first few outfits by Tait for fall!

LOVE this Acne show! I think I like the presentation more than the clothes but still, so many new pieces I would love to have in my closet from Acne as usual.

From the new issue of Grey, in it’s new size format. This issue may be the most Valentina of the issues yet.
First shoot by the talented Moreno Galata!

Stories on paper. Images from the new issue of Fantastic Man.

Last weekend we headed south to a little town called Noyers to see our friends Danielle and Adrian‘s work in a Californian curated art show at a brand new gallery called La Porte Peinte. The title of the show was Californoyers, a nod to the bringing artists together from both places and integrating with the community. Most of the artists in the show created work that was inspired by the place and borrowed supplies from local craftsmen in the community. It was a really inspiring and beautiful weekend! There were so many great stories to what went into the work, and I was blown away by how much I loved everything. I want that hanging wood piece Adrian made! It’s entirely out of oak and leather. Even Scout had some fun both admiring and being scared by the taxidermy and feathered masks. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next at this very special space as it continues to evolve.
Love this collaboration. Cameron Mesirow (Glasser) + Tauba Auerbach at Deitch Projects.

You can feel it in the air.

I feel on fire lately. Feels good to be back from wherever I was. A good vacation really helps. My friend Alex has this expression about people, things, etc.. being on fire, and I am feeling it. Which is good because there are only a million projects flying my way right now. Started reading Fran Lebowitz’s Metropolitan Life after watching her documentary recently, (finally!) loooved it, add her to the new list of heroes! Not sure who this amazing images is by.. anyone?
photo by Aitor Saavedra for Macarena Adell thanks Patricia for the image info!

The end of summer (the whole 3 non-continuous weeks of it here..) feels like it’s already here. A brief heatwave and that’s it! Love these outfits from Harpers Bazaar Australia

While we’re on a particularly colorful note, let’s bring her back for a minute. These outfits could make anyone excited about fall. Still not tired of them.

It’s not the pieces, it’s the ensemble.
There’s a quality to her outfits, you can just tell. Never a dull moment. Saw her outside my offices crossing the street heading to Balenciaga one morning when I was late and could have hit my head against the wall for not bringing my camera with me that day, such an amazing outfit, especially for 10:30am..
