Can’t get enough of turned out tv lately. so good. Maya Villiger definitely takes street style photos to another level with photos that set a certain feeling and have an elevated sense of story to them. (Her funny animation collages are amazing!) Beautiful photos make all the difference between just using a snapshot of someone else’s style on the street and telling your own story with a great photo of that person. Love it!
Not sure what this is from but love it! Resembles the outfit I have underneath my clothes this winter more than an outfit I could pull off on it’s own, but still so good. Love the mini bag too!
Looooove this new little shop! Gotta get back to visit NY soon.
“We wanted to create a destination for all the beautiful things we find,” says Burini, pointing to a twig and plant installation made by Molly Findlay that hangs alongside quirky reads like the 3-D coffee-table book “Phantograms From Nature” by Barry Rothstein. “I would use something really cool on a shoot and then have no use for it and it would be gone,” adds Hughes, who confesses that parting with their one-of-a-kind merchandise is often the hardest part. “Now we can savor and share those special finds with people!” The treehouse-like shop offers everything from Rastafarian wool scarves by Taiana Giefer to Old Field Farm honey and Incense of the West with tepee-shaped burners

I always have loved Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead’s style and so this feature from the latest issue of The Travel Almanac was a super nice surprise. A peek inside what’s in her suitcase while traveling. Of course she has beautiful Astier notebooks and Mayle dresses! She is the coolest. It’s a really nice magazine I came across recently all about interesting people and their travels. Definitely worth checking out!
So nice to get to peek into one of my favorite brands (who I would love to design for’s) studio.

Been hiding out the past holiday weekend. Spending some time with D and Scout and having dinners with friends, trying to relax and adjust to the winter time. Back with more exciting news/posts soon.

I can’t even explain how excited I was when I first saw these images of artwork by Lauren Spencer King who’s blog The Sphinx and the Milky Way is SUPER inspiring. I love her work, her studio, and her mixed cd party she organized in it pictured above. I discovered Lauren’s blog through my dear dear friend Lili who is Lauren’s neighbor and now friend. I wish I lived near these two to participate in the amazing amount of creativity that goes on over there. Images are from Lauren, Lili and sweet thing.
On the shelves of Olympia le Tan. So many brilliant covers, good books and book clutches that I would love to have! I see we share a love of Totoro and Studio Ghibli too.
Garance Dore’s beautiful Chanel photo was too good not to post again. It’s always so nice to see more than just straight on runway shots. The way the clothes move tells you so much more.
Above is the Chloe outfit I am in love with. Lots of imaginary shopping running through my head..
